The Social Work and Research Impact Librarian will join the Clinical Research & Data Services (CRDS) team in providing research and teaching support to the School of Social Work and other HSL-supported schools and departments, particularly those listed below in Specific Responsibilities and Duties in the Notice of Vacancy. This role will join CRDS in providing support to related research initiatives and schools, including UW Medicine and other associated centers and clinics.


The Social Work and Research Impact Librarian will cultivate productive relationships to integrate library resources, expertise, and services into the School of Social Work community's curriculum, research, and clinical operations. Given the rapidly changing landscape in scholarly communications and data sharing requirements, they will maintain knowledge of trends in scholarly communication and strategies for describing research impact, and will collaborate to provide relevant information and services to the School. They will develop and promote library services and resources; participate in professional and scholarly organizations and activities; pursue personal professional development; and maintain awareness of evolving trends in library and information science related to health sciences. 


Salary: The base salary range for this position will be $5,500-$7,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. Other compensation associated with this position may include a moving allowance.
