Cost
- For (dorm) lodging, meals and instructional content: $250.00.
- For commuters: $100 (Either way - what a deal!)

Science Boot Camps for Librarians are immersive 2 ½ day events featuring educational presentations delivered by scientists. Following the format of the successful annual event in Massachusetts, the Western version will cover these topics:
  • Bioinformatics
  • Environmental Science & GIS
  • Physics
  • Data Management (CU Boulder librarians)
Expect to learn how scientists do their research, deal with data and stay current. You don’t have to be a subject librarian for these specific fields to benefit from this conference. The program will be broadly applicable and includes interesting keynote speakers, a panel on women in science, tours, and plenty of time to network with fellow “campers.”

Additional sponsors include Annual Reviews, CRC Press, IEEE, IOP, Morgan & Claypool, SPIE, Springer, YBP, University of Colorado Boulder, University of Oregon and Oregon State University.
