Registration is now open for the GWLA Deans & Directors’ Membership Meeting. The meeting will be hosted by our friends at Fondren Library, Rice University on Monday and Tuesday, October 29-30.  Participants should plan to arrive in Houston on Monday, October 29; Board members should arrive on Sunday, October 28^th.

Meeting Focus:

The Planning & Organization committee and the GWLA Board have developed a great program for Monday afternoon:

• Keynote address by Jonathan Band from Policy Bandwidth titled "Copyright & Higher Education: Trends and Context".
• Demonstration of software under development by Ryan Litsey and Kenny Ketner from Texas Tech University.
• Panel Discussion on Copyright Issues; Jonathan Band, Ryan Litsey, Kenny Ketner, Patrick Burns.
• Updates on GWLA’s other strategic initiatives, including the Print & Electronic Collections Task Force and the Student Learning Outcomes Task force.
