The University of Illinois at Chicago, Library of the Health Sciences seeks applications for a Liaison Librarian. The successful candidate will be the Library's primary point of contact with students, faculty, and staff in the School of Public Health (SPH). The liaison librarian for the SPH will design and deliver instruction, support research, and offer feedback on collection development decisions; they will also support general reference services as a member of the ISR department. In the Community Engagement role, they will explore expanding the Library's current liaison model to support academic-community partnerships at UIC and in the greater Chicago community.
This tenure-track appointment includes the expectation that the faculty member will be actively engaged in and significantly contribute to the Library profession through research/scholarship and service related to professional and scholarly interests. This includes publications and committee work at various levels. Expectations are further outlined in the norms for tenure track appointments. Salary: The minimum salary for a full-time twelve-month tenure-track appointment is $71,500.
