Under the supervision of the Director of CATalyst Studios, within the Student Learning & Engagement Department (SLE), the Business Research & Experiential Learning Librarian will provide information services to the Eller College of Management and McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship’s dynamic and diverse group of faculty, students, residents, and fellows. In addition to supporting the Eller College of Management, this position will be a member of the CATalyst Studios Experiential Learning Team. This role emphasizes specialized instruction and research support, experiential learning curriculum development, and a strong understanding of best practices in library and technology pedagogy to the University of Arizona campus.

The Business Research & Experiential Learning Librarian will engage business faculty and instructors to integrate and scaffold information, digital, and data literacies into their curriculum. Additionally, they will support faculty and graduate students in their research and collaborate with colleagues across the libraries to meet evolving needs. As a member of the Experiential Learning team, this position will collaborate on the development of compelling experiential learning opportunities, both within and outside the makerspace, that incorporate maker competencies for a wide variety of disciplinary users. They will help assess and investigate emerging technologies for integration into learning and teaching efforts and they will collaborate with SLE colleagues along with other Libraries departments to build new processes, partnerships, and connections to expand the impact of our experiential learning spaces and instruction program.

This is a continuing-eligible or continuing status track, academic professional position. Incumbents are members of the general faculty and are entitled to all accompanying rights and privileges granted by the Arizona Board of Regents and the University of Arizona. Retention and promotion are earned through achievement of a record of excellence in position effectiveness, scholarship, and service.

Salary:  $63,000 - $76,000
