Continuing Resources and General Description Specialist -- University of Colorado at Boulder

The University Libraries encourage applications for a Continuing Resources and General Description Specialist! This position supports the discovery of Libraries collections through description of materials in multiple formats and by contributing to Team and Chapter projects. Primary responsibilities include cataloging serial publications in all languages and formats, including international, foreign, federal, and state documents, monographic series, and classed-together analyzed series; solving serials cataloging problems and performing routine maintenance and improvement of serials catalog records and monographic analytic records in both OCLC and the local catalog; and creating and editing item and check-in/holdings records for serials and item records for monographic sets and series. This position also performs original and sophisticated copy cataloging in various formats and subject fields in accordance with team needs.
