Fondren Library seeks a creative, collaborative digital initiatives coordinator to help plan, develop and maintain digital scholarship and digital collections projects. As Fondren Library expands digital scholarship partnerships, the digital initiatives coordinator will help to devise strategies for supporting and sustaining such projects, conduct outreach, perform consultations, and develop and implement project plans in collaboration with researchers and technical staff. In addition, they will provide technical support by determining project specifications, creating and cleaning up metadata, helping to manage digital platforms, overseeing ingests of digital objects, and performing quality control. This position requires curiosity, initiative, a commitment to collaboration, and an enthusiasm for learning. It reports to the Assistant University Librarian for Digital Scholarship and Organizational Development.

This position offers a flexible work schedule (minimum of 3 days in the office per week).

Annual hiring range: $58,000 to $64,000, contingent upon qualifications and experience
