The Resource Description Services (RDS) Team in the Libraries encourages applications for a Government Documents/General Collections Cataloging Specialist! The RDS Team supports the University Libraries’ mission by providing people with detailed and timely intellectual access to over five million volumes of governmental and intergovernmental documents and technical reports for education and research purposes. The provision of access is achieved in partnership with clients and the wider library community and is crafted to promote client self-sufficiency in finding, identifying, selecting, and acquiring information resources. Reporting to the Head of the General Collections Cataloging Section, the Specialist performs original and sophisticated copy cataloging of government information materials in a variety of formats and supplies cataloging for the Libraries’ general collections.

Salary: The annual salary for this full-time position is $46,100 - $51,850. A small relocation assistance stipend may be available within University Libraries Guidelines.
