IT Support Computing Analyst II -- University of Arizona Libraries

The University of Arizona Libraries Technology Strategy and Services department is seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and dedicated professional with strong proficiencies in IT and AV operations to help our highly collaborative team deliver in-person and remote customer-focused support to the Libraries staff and end-users.

We are a large academic research library providing a broad range of collections and services to a diverse audience, including undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, researchers, staff, community users, and donors. You will be directly contributing to operational elements of the daily and strategic work that make the Libraries a key partner on campus.

This position will provide workstation and laptop support for the staff at the UA Libraries and maintain large public installations such as the 150-seat Information Commons. Responsibilities include purchasing and maintaining the machines, developing and deploying standardized software images, and providing support to the users. You will run a local helpdesk to provide front-line support for library staff using campus-provided services like email, calendaring, and identity management. You will also help maintain the Libraries’ extensive audio visual technology stack, maintain the conference rooms and other meeting spaces used by staff and patrons, train staff in how to use them, and assist with recording and transmission of live events. You will be involved in planning, implementing, and supporting information technology in cutting-edge new spaces of the Libraries' areas of the Student Success District, such as the Data, Virtual Reality, Maker, and Learning Studios. This position reports to the Manager of the Operations Unit.
