Learning Services Coordinator -- University of California, Merced

Using a blend of creative, administrative, and analytical skills, the Learning Services Coordinator collaborates closely with colleagues in the Research & Learning Services (R&LS) unit to enhance students’ information literacy and deliver effective library instruction and reference services. They create, manage, and evaluate instructional materials and learning objects in partnership with librarians, ensuring their continued effectiveness and accessibility. This position oversees online tools for instruction and reference, such as LibApps, focusing on coordinating access, maximizing functionality, and sharing best practices to support internal users. Additionally, they communicate library events and resources through appropriate library and campus channels and gather and analyze data related to instruction, reference, and outreach services for reporting, decision-making, and advocacy. 


Salary:  A reasonable estimate for this position is $62,236 -$74,215 annually at 100% appointment.
