Library Services Professional (Extended Temporary) -- University of Arizona Libraries

This full-time, temporary position (one year) reports to the Unit lead for Learning and Student Success in the Student Learning & Engagement (SLE) Department, providing instructional support and research consultations primarily to students in the Eller College of Management and McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship, but also other colleges and academic units as needed.

This position is based at the UA Campus Main Library located in Tucson, AZ and is eligible for flexible scheduling for individuals who reside in Arizona.

You will work collaboratively with members of the SLE Department and across the organization to develop and promote an inclusive approach to a group and one-on-one instruction (reference/research consultation) service model.

You will also work collaboratively with members of the SLE Department to develop and promote a growing instruction program that is committed to upholding the Libraries’ commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and to further the Libraries’ commitment to student success. This work may include leading clinics, developing and updating instructional materials, and providing support programming and other opportunities to support student engagement and success.
