Resource Sharing Librarian -- University of Oregon Libraries

Reporting to the Director of Access Services, the Resource Sharing Librarian manages the daily operations and personnel in Resource Sharing and works with divisional leadership to help meet the changing service needs of UO Libraries’ customers. Responsibilities include managing 3.5 FTE non-exempt, represented employees, and approximately 2.5 FTE part-time library student assistants, and serving as the Libraries’ area expert for interlibrary loan and document delivery services. The individual in this position embraces change and innovation, eagerly welcomes a challenge, and has experience in library public service and supervision.


The Resource Sharing Librarian also participates in appropriate professional development activities and organizations to stay current with trends and practices in the field and to meet criteria for promotion and retention. This position contributes to the University’s goals regarding equity and inclusion.

Salary: $58,000 - $72,000 per year
