This Stack Supervisor reports to the Circulation Manager and will be responsible for overseeing the Library’s physical book collection including maintaining appropriate call number order, overseeing shelving and reshelving of volumes, shifting and moving items and shelving units to accommodate growth of collections and other space needs, and training student employees to assist in these duties. The incumbent will be responsible for monitoring the state of the Library building, ensuring that all five floors of the Library are properly maintained for cleanliness, appearance, and safety and coordinating with University Facilities on needed repairs and maintenance issues as they arise. This individual will coordinate annual inventory reports for Library equipment and furniture. At the Front Desk they will provide customer service to students, faculty and staff in accessing library materials and managing their accounts

The incumbent will work the following shifts or similar:

Academic year: Monday – Friday 5:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Holiday breaks: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Summer: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
