The Borrowing & Course Materials Coordinator makes library resources available to the students, staff, and faculty of University of Utah’s main campus to support their learning and research activities.
This position assists in the management of Course Materials and processes course-assigned resource requests, purchases materials for the library collection, markets Library and Campus Course Materials services, and troubleshoots high-level questions. Acts as the department liaison to the Open Reserve collection. Assists the department manager with various special projects and provides high-quality customer service and support.
Assists the Borrowing Supervisor in borrowing, receiving, and returning materials owned by other libraries (Borrowing requests), as well as providing electronic access to journal articles and book chapters from the Marriott Library’s print collection and electronic resources (Document Delivery requests).
Work time for this position is split equally between Borrowing and Course Materials, though fluctuation is expected throughout the academic year.
This position is required to work on campus full-time. Telecommuting will only be authorized for occasional/exceptional circumstances.

Hourly Wage: $20.25 to $21.15
