The University of Central Oklahoma Max Chambers Library seeks an experienced library professional to serve as our Coordinator of Undergraduate Research Librarian II. This position is the library’s point person for undergraduate research support, supporting students in academic research and information literacy. Candidates must have an MLIS from an ALA-accredited institution and 3 or more years of relevant experience. Preference will be given to candidates with higher education experience, instruction experience in an academic library, as well as an understanding of teaching and research methodologies.
As the Undergraduate Research Librarian, you will work collaboratively with library staff and campus faculty to advocate for and provide research assistance and instruction. The successful candidate will promote the library's role as an essential academic partner, working to ensure that undergraduate students develop the information literacy skills necessary for academic success and lifelong learning. You will have the opportunity to build meaningful partnerships with faculty and campus programs and directly impact student achievement through both individual consultations and classroom instruction.
