The McGoogan Health Sciences Library seeks an innovative and collaborative Data Services Librarian to join a team of faculty education and research librarians. The Data Services Librarian coordinates and delivers the library's research services for research data management, data curation, data visualization, and data literacy, and oversees the continued development of a portfolio of services that support University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) researchers. They will liaise with the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and researcher teams at UNMC. They will be enthusiastically supported by librarians who have complementary skills in data, research support, and information literacy areas.     

As a member of the library's Education & Research Services Department, they will also engage in liaison-led instruction, perform literature searches, and participate in outreach activities to support the department's work. This position reports to the Associate Dean for Education and Research Services. As a member of the library faculty, the Data Services Librarian will participate in shared governance of the library, serve on library and university committees, and be actively involved in relevant professional organizations.

Salary: Starts at $65,000. Salary is commensurate with experience.
