The J. Willard Marriot Library seeks enthusiastic applicants for the position of Development Specialist. This position will be responsible for stewarding current library donors and leading efforts to identify and cultivate prospective donors. The Development Specialist will help coordinate the efforts of several volunteer boards and organize their meetings and other events. Strong applicants will have an interest in advancement as a career and are eager to actively engage prospective donors in the work of the library. Applicants must be willing to work directly with donors and prospective donors to build lasting relationships and help them achieve their philanthropic goals. Because of the diversity of responsibilities in this position, effective time management and attention to detail are essential. This position includes strong professional development and training opportunities centered on academic fundraising. Duties may require infrequent travel, evening, or weekend commitments.

Salary: $45,000 - $50,000
