The University of Nevada, Reno Libraries seeks an engaged, user-centered leader to manage the DeLaMare Science and Engineering Library (DLM), which provides growing services to the University through Data Services and GIS programs, the Mary B. Ansari Map Library, and an exploratory Makerspace. This is a full-time, tenure-track faculty position. Collections support the fields of chemistry, computer science, earth sciences, engineering, math, and physics. Reporting to the Associate Dean of the Libraries, the Director will work collaboratively to provide high-quality library services that meet the evolving needs of users in the DeLaMare Library as well as other campus libraries and partners.
This is a tenure-track faculty position that requires scholarly activity and publication and service on professional and university committees. Salary: The minimum salary for Assistant Professor is $80,000. The minimum salary for Associate Professor is $90,000. Your 19.25% retirement contribution is generously matched by the University. With the faculty retirement plan, you are 100% vested your first day. Plus no state income tax!
